missing chickens

So the other morning I noticed that I hadn't seen our younger set of chickens. I went out to check on them and ALL 12 were gone. Completely gone, without a trace. No feathers, blood, bodies, prints, broken fence, holes underneath or anything. So I am thinking possibly that someone stole them. But why would someone steal the younger ones and not the older ones? Any ideas? We have lost a few to predators in the past but there has always been bodies or at least pieces of bodies left. Thoughts?

If this happened at night and you do not have netting or top cover it very well could be a owl but if you have a full enclosure then you have a thief in the mist ......

Could be you need a game camera in a secure position to do some watching for you ....
