I have 11 laying hens and we usually get around 7 -8 eggs/day.
Lately we've been letting our hens out during the day to roam around the pasture. They still have
2 access doors to get back into their coop and nesting boxes. Lately we've gotten very few eggs. Could they
be laying their eggs out in the pasture? We haven't found any, but is that a possibility?

sure is a very good possibility. Mine did the same thing, I couldn't figure out why they had stopped laying! Then I found some on the hood of an old truck, it had a tarp on it and I guess the hen decided it would be a good nest?? Then I found some in a duck's nest, then in the middle of my daylillies, etc. Now I had to resort to going back to putting a golf ball in the nest or leaving the first egg I find in th morning in the nest and all but one hen is back to laying in the coop. Hope yours will too.
