Hi, could you start a new thread since this one is 15 years old? You will get more looks. Pictures would be good. Feather picking from overcrowding, boredom from not getting outside to roam, or too little protein (less than 16-20%) in the diet may lead to feather picking. Find out who is doing that, and consider getting some pinless peepers for the bully. Of course always look at their skin for lice or mites.Hii, I am having the same problem described here. My hens are well fed, they get a well balanced diet with protein and supplements. Four out nine hens are missing feathers from back to tail. I don't have a rooster.
