Missing Feathers in Back

Anyone have an answer as to why these feathers could be missing from her back? I’ve never witnessed any bullying from the rest of the flock. She looks and acts fine other than the missing feather. What should I do about it?

Nope. No roosters.

I'm having the same issue at the moment. Just one hen (out of twelve), just over a year old, missing feathers in the exact same spot as your bird. No visible bullying for mine either, and no roosters.

Is yours trying to regrow feathers at all? Mine does start to grow feathers and then it looks like they get plucked again. I'm going to try a chicken saddle on her to see if that will keep her back protected, now that it isn't extremely hot and humid out. I will definitely update if it helps at all.
