I have 10 hens: 4 Araucanas, 4 Barred Rocks, and 2 Lace Winged Wyandotte's.
They were hatched March 2019 and layed 7-11 eggs daily. This year I'm getting 4-8 eggs daily
I feed a popular chicken feed with oyster supplement. They also get fresh leftovers of meats and vegetables and chicken scratch grains.
For a couple of months an occasional egg from the BR or LWW (its always a brown egg) has had a very thin or almost non existent shell.
They other day I noticed 2 of the Barred Rock hens are missing feathers along the breast bone and the skin is red (not sure if that is normal).
All the other chickens appear fine and healthy.
Do I have a problem and what is it?
