Missing feathers

I have 15 girls that eat very well, have plenty of fresh water, clean coop and free range of the lower yard. The problem is they have a heavy molt and a few still have missing tails and bald areas either rear end or in the chest area. I have been adding vitamins in the water, but they still look strange. I have checked for mites or other skin issues and I dont see anything on them> Help
 
Feathers are made of protein, so you could try supplementing the protein in their diets.
