Missing Hen ( Buckwheat )

Buckwheat was sick, yellow poo with green dots in it. From the info I could gather she probably had cancer or peritonitis. Thursday she was looking tired. Thought I was going to have to put her down on Friday but she seem to be making a comeback. Eating, scratching and such. Keeping an eye on her in case she took a turn for the worse but she seemed OK but still had the yellow poop, two weeks now. Yesterday I woke up and she was gone? I did leave the gate open but they go out all the time and it is closed most nights. She seemed OK on Thursday but figured sooner or later I would have to step in. I am sure she ended up part of the food chain which makes me feel a little better.I would have just buried her being sick I would not eat her or feed her to the dog. RIP Buckwheat!

Hopefully she didn't suffer too much. Especially cancer or peritonitis can drag out.

I was devastated when I thought I lost Pele our RIR. I found her hours later. She overturned a leaf bag on top of herself & got trapped.
She definitely lost her mojo a bit since then.
