If she is sitting and I can't find her, will she bring the babies back to the coop when they're ready?

If everything goes right she will bring them out after hatch. You will probably find her before that listen for chirping in two to three weeks.

That's what I am trying to convince myself about my 2 hens... but 2 broodys at exactly the same time is a little unlikely, I think...

It's not unlikely if one goes broody it seems like there is always A stepmom ready to help hatch mine always go in pairs.
