Missing neck feathers

I have this chicken who is loosing all of her feathers on her neck. At first I thought she might be molting but she’s only 8 months old.

Check for mites. Other thing would be to see if other chickens in your flock are feather picking on her. Is she lowest in pecking order???
Feather picking can occur when the chickens are short on protein in their diet.
What are you feeding your flock??? and are you by chance diluting the protein intake by feeding too many treats like scratch, or similar?

Did this chicken previously have a beard/muffs/tufts?
Do all your other chickens have beards/muffs/tufts?

It looks as if the others have plucked out her beard, perhaps because she is "different" perhaps they are "helping" by preening bits of food and water out of it. Either way, it's not an uncommon occurrence and it will grow back when she molts, however they may pluck it out again.
