I think it might be an internet speed issue...if you open that article and wait a few minutes do the pics appear?
Nope, left it open for an hour or more....remember I'm on laptop,
and leave multiple BYC windows open frequently.

I just looked, and even though I can see the pictures I think there is something wrong with it. Not @aart's fault, just something not right about it.
Hope you can finger it out.

Yes!

Yes.

That is not one of the pics that was missing.

How did you create the 'test article?
You must have some clue as to what the deal is?
My screenshot is just a picture showing that I can see the pictures in the article Kathy created but I can see all of the pictures in your article too.

Thanks for all the sleuthing!! The pics in the original article are from when we were on Huddler. We had to write redirects to map the images in the old system to the new one.

The images load fine for me (and it seems others) now. If you're not seeing them, you may need to clear your browser cache and reload the page.

Hmmm..hadn't know of the issue until today, but hadn't looked at it since I don't know when.
Thanks!

Weird. Alot of the pics won't display for me either, but alot of them do. Appears to be in random order. I deleted my cache and cookies to no avail.

If it weren't for the image placeholders, I wouldn't know if they all loader or not. For instance between these paragraphs there is an image that won't load:

"In 2016 I integrated the chicks at about 4 weeks old. Chicks went into the coop at 1 week with their heater, separated from the main flock by a wood and mesh temporary wall. I had added the doors and put the wall up before taking chicks out to coop and found a couple of my ................................"

"image placholder / there is no image".

"I use a heating pad for brooder heat, some call it the MHP (mama heating pad), I call it the Pseudo Brooder 'Plate'. Pad legs sit on groove on upside down wire crate tray set on bricks to keep it above the shavings...................."

The url of this missing image is:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/content/type/61/id/7746994/width/350/height/700
But the next image that actually loads is:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/content/type/61/id/7746914/width/350/height/700
Casportpony can you look to see if that exact image loaded for you? Here is a screen shot:
