Missing toe

One of my new chicks that hatched today is missing the toe on the back side of the foot

. Will this be a problem? Or is there something I can do? I had to boot both feet because its toes aren't straight. Any help would be great.

Huh, that's unusual. But, no, it shouldn't be an issue. Chickens adapt pretty well to losing a toe, so being born without one should be fine.

No the little chick didn't make it. I couldn't walk without that back toe
