Mississippi Blizzard Of 2011

I'd let you come to Seattle. It is nearly 50 degrees here. On the downside it's going to rain forever.

Kathy, I just love your place, especially the pond. I also love those BRs... But I think they would be sooo much happier here

Just kidding, but I was looking at the pictures of the pond on another thread and I sure wish we had a place for a larger one. Our's is just little tiny one.

Dawg53, It's supposed to hit 40 here today... that'll feel like summer after all these days in the teens and 20's

Come on over to the PNW, we have hadsnow on the ground since before T-giving. I happen to enjoy it though I like our four seasons. Go out in the mountains covered with snow its awesome. BUT in about another month I will be ready for spring to come also. Just not looking foreward to mud season!

Getting a lot of mud here now that it's melting but nothing like that. I lived in Western Montana for a while and I heard the locals say that the seasons were Snow = six months, mud = five months and summer = one month.
Sure was beautiful though. I loved everything about the mountains except the mud. About the closest thing to heaven a feller like me will ever see I guess.

I already tell the younguns how it was back in the old days...

We had to walk to school every morning, 6 miles each way, fighting off bears, cougars and moonshiners, after doing four hours of chores before daylight, toten' 60 pounds of books... and a shot gun.. and your baby sister... and a dozen eggs.. and an apple for the teacher.

oh yeah, and it was uphill both ways.
