In the context that you used, I would have used opposed.Hey, (scratches head) I looked up the word *You* adjusted to a bold text in my comment. Thought you were hinting to "it" being misspelled? That is the accurate spelling and it's usage is what I wanted. So, I guess your referring to the "veggie" versus "vegetable" of prior posting?
Yeah I'm dyslexic &ADHD but, I don't enjoy when it flares up and royally makes a mess of things, ideas, posts, text messages, emails, etal.
Fair enough. Hmmm. I can see that. (Shrugs)In the context that you used, I would have used opposed.
Huh, this is fascinating. From dictionary.com definition #2 is as follows for 'a': to put or apply (one thing) to or near to another.Apposed with the 'a' means "place (something) in proximity to or juxtaposition with something else". I suspect, and I think Elk did too, that you meant opposed, with an 'o', meaning "(of two or more things) contrasting or conflicting with each other".
Though juxtaposing something does mean you're contrasting them, so they might both work, haha.
I like to think I can get away with a (in my eyes) fun nickname of "Sappy" or "sappie" pronounced 'Saffy'.... As someone who has the word "Sebright" in her username, I sincerely hope that people tag me when they want to use my full name.
Or one of the many sweet nicknames that the Kikster and the gang have given me.
Just... not any of those... abominations mentioned in Odd's post.
One of the most painful ironies for me... Grammar errors by others are usually glaringly obvious to my eyes. However, my mistakes I can be so dang blind to, it's no longer funny.Something that ticks me off hugely is when people say "u" for "you," and "bc" for "because," and other such things....
Not really poultry, specifically, sorry.
And punctuation. Punctuation irritates me as much as, if not more than, misspellings.
I see these mistakes so often... it's just -- gah!
Oh, and let's not forget "to," "too," and "two!"

Go ahead! Those are sweet. Thanks!I like to think I can get away with a (in my eyes) fun nickname of "Sappy" or "sappie" pronounced 'Saffy'.
As is the case with nicknames (most of the time) they are made in a form of affection/respect for another.
Double-Oh-cluck's the name.I can never look at my avatar in the same way again.....
Ahem. You mean, they're talking about .... right?Well I guess there talking about a wooden beam that oxen pull.![]()
