Farmed waterfowl are more docile and put on fat when well fed. They generally are more tender.
But, duck and goose is not chicken. It is a dark dark, rich and filling meat. Either you love it, grow to love it, or can't get over the first bite. I love duck now!
I have to admit you and MissPrissy have got me" falling off the fence" so to speak about trying duck now. (been sitting on it so long it was habit) My DH is gonna love you guys for this because I'm gonna ask to ex-span the coop plans so he can have his ducks.
All I need to do now is get that coop done, read up somemore on duck care , and find out what is best to feed them. My work is cut out for me for the next few weeks...LOL
