Hey guys, I wanted to started a follow along thread for my flock. For now it’ll consist of pictures and short stories! Here are some of the recent pictures of my flock with the new pile I brought in. One of my favorite things is watching the group dust bathe!

Well they’ve been cooped up long enough! One of them fell, went back in, them shortly after one room the leap and they all did.

We have one who just does not want to come out, a cockerel I believe. Also heard one of them attempting to give a sad crow yesterday, it was so wimpy haha.

Just pecking around ! They love to sit and just relax in from of the screen door as it’s much cooler because of the type of dirt/sand there. I’ve noticed that one of my silkies is definitely a cockerel... I’ve also noticed I think only one of my EE are. I have about 6-8 roo’s and will only be keeping two, I have three that are my favorites so I’ll try to rehome them but it’ll just pain me to cull!

In the picture posted, the two directly to the left of the stump are two of my favorite cockerels! They’re sweet and love to be pet... however where I live it’s required to keep a more aggressive rooster due to predictors.
