We live in hot, hot, Nevada. It's not uncommon at all for the temps to hover at 100 degrees, sometimes higher. Would it be okay to put a mister in the coop? They have shade, but it can even be hot under the shade. We'd appreciate any suggestions

I used to live in the desert of So. Calif. where it summer temps were well above 100 deg. Misters worked well, but I noticed that they preferred the shade over the moisture. We had lots of trees, and places where they hid in the shade. Although it was really warm for us and we appreciated the misters, the chickens didn't seem to enjoy them that much and tended to settle for the shade instead.

Thank you for your insight. We were concerned about them over heating.
