Do you find misting duck eggs to be beneficial? I am about to start incubating, and I understand it mimics the mother. Do you cool them and then mist them? How often, and with warm or room temp water? Thanks for the help!

AMIGA, Great Information LOL

Yes, I think Misting is beneficial especially for ducks, and NO I do not nor have I cooled my eggs down. Well actually I take that back, when I candle, I guess technically you can say that's a cool down but other then that. NOPE..

Kind of put yourself in the Mamma ducks place, they go swimming and then sit on there eggs. HOWEVER, I have had a Cochin sit on Duck eggs and successfully hatch them but I did have to spray them really good once it was time for them to hatch.

Thanks for the confirmation, Lacrystol!
