Are these mite eggs? I haven’t seen any mites or lice but was told by the vet in December that these were mite eggs. I did three treatments of the permithrin dust, chickens and coop, but she still has them. Only one bird that I can tell. These are my quarantine birds. I got them in October and am nervous about integrating them until I’m sure they’re bug free. I plan on checking for bugs tonight when it’s dark but wanted input about the white on her feathers.
Two of the pictures are by her vent and the other is a feather that was under her beak.

A bit hard to tell, but it looks like the feather sheath. Did the vet put it under a microscope? Did you find any bugs in your inspection?

She didn’t put it under a microscope. But she isn’t an avian vet. She’s a farm vet that comes to my house so I don’t think she had a microscope available. A farm vet is all I have available here.
I didn’t find any bugs at night or during the day. No black, pink, or white scurrying things. But this is my first time owning chickens so I want to be sure. This is also the only bird with these on her. I’m taking the vet at her word but even after the three permitherine treatments she still has them.
