ok i was on a poultry web site and it said to spray poultry with adams flea and tick mist to get rid of mites, and i found sergeants flea and tick spray for cats under my sink will this work or will it kill my poultry?

A lot of the sprays that are bought are grocery store are not safe for animals. I would pick up something from the feed store. I would be more confident in the product being safe and actually working.

I use either the permethrin 10% that you mix with water and spray on them------they give directions for each type of animal, or I sprinkle sevin dust in their pen that they can dust themselves with.

I also use DE to dust my chickens. It is supposed to kill mite and lice.
