Mites and Lice! YUK!

I have recently found mites and quite a bad case of lice on my chickens. Eggs around the base of the follicle etc. Also, they are bare on there backs. No feathers - just red and dirty?? I live in Australia and can't seem to find permethrin spray anywhere - online as well. Is it not sold here? What do people suggest I do to treat my poor girls? I have powdering them with Pestene but I don't think it is strong enough to do the job. Out of my 6 Black Australorps (the infested ones) I am not getting any eggs from them. I have sprayed down there housing and have been treating it as well. What am I doing wrong? TIA
