It's probably o.k. to spray in the coop, on your wood surfaces, inside cleaned out nesting boxes, etc.think it would be okay to spray in the coup?

As far as effectiveness, I have no idea.
IF you have a lice/mite infestation, a permethrin based poultry spray or dust would be best to use to get the critters under control. (Use on birds and housing)
Alternatively you can use Elector PSP (Spinosad).

You don't have any lice/mites or the problem is not bad?I don’t have a bad problem with those in the coup because my girls are surprisingly clean and enjoy there dust baths!!!
If it wouldn’t do much but make it smell nice then it doesn’t hurt to do it and try.
I don’t have a problem with mites as far as I can tell. Looking for more of a preventive for summerYou don't have any lice/mites or the problem is not bad?
If they have lice/mites, then you have a problem. Use the Permethrin.
