Hi All!
One of my chickens, I have 6, has/had red mites.
Now my husband and I discovered egg clusters at the base of her feathers all around her neck. The other chickens do not show signs of this. We dusted Apple, the Blue Cochin, with Permithrin, about 3 times over the course of three weeks.
So, I am assuming the mites are dead, and the coop has been cleaned and dusted as well. BUT, there are still nasty little egg clusteres stuck to the base of the feathers. Will these fall off? How do i get rid of them? Thanks!
