mites now what

i got alot of chicks on saturday but they keep on dying one minute their fine then they start to fall over and them they cant get up and die they are dying with in minutes of the first syptoms and i havent been able to stop it i have been giving them medicated water but that didnt work then i noticed on one of the chicks that died some lice or mites on it and think thats whats killing them so how do you get rid of mites and why do they die so fast any advice will help alot

Go get some Sevin dust and put it on your birds making sure to get it to their skin. Mites are parasites that can literally suck the life out of animals. Good luck!
