we have mites in one of our flocks it is killing one hen especially what is the best product to treat with

You could go to the feed store or TSC and get some permytherin dust and dust the girl who has them bad. They also have permytherin liquid you mix up and put in a sprayer so you can clean your coop out and spray everything down. Every nook and cranny underside of roost bars, clean out and spray down nesting boxes. Pretty much every surface inside the coop. This will kill the mites but not the eggs so you will have to repeat in 7 days to make sure you break the cycle

Looks like you have been given good advice about treating mites on the body. The housing needs to be treated as well.

You mention they are killing one hen - can you post some photos of her? Mites can be draining, but it would be a good idea to investigate if the mites are her main problem or if she's got more going on. Tell us more about the symptoms in the hen in question.

Also you had another recent thread about one of your d’uccle pullets that has SLM - have you began treatment for her? https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/hurt-feet-on-d’uccle.1309327/

We will try one of the products someone suggested

The hen the mites are really bothering is our Easter egger pullet waggy
She won’t eat much, is excessively preening, and she is starting to become anemic.
She also is our weakest hen even before we had mites she was always acting diffent and she also has a deformed beak.

And yes we have begun speckles treatment for scaly leg mites and her sisters too.

The quicker you tackle the mites the better.
They can suck the life right out of birds and kill them.

Maybe since her beak is off she isn't getting enough to eat each day.
Have you tried wetting feed for her yet?
