I have three hens with scaly leg mites. The mite signs on their combs have gone away with treatment.

I've treated their bodies with DE and have been treating their legs with bag balm. They've been isolated for 3 weeks now.

Their leg scales still show some separation.

How do I know when I can put them back in with the other hens? Do I wait for their leg scales to tighten back up, or does that take longer?

Thanks,
bethanyrae
