Mites or Lice and how to treat?!? PLEASE Help

i have never ever seen my turkeys dust bathe so im just gonna get him to strut so its easier and apply it. would it be good to put on the floor of the coops?

When I dust the coop, I like to change the bedding and add the dust to the new stuff, or I just mix it in with the old bedding with the exception of hay. Hay tends to get dirtier faster, so I make sure that I try to put clean hay in when I dust. I go kind of nuts with the dust since I do NOT like parasites. The main thing is just to make sure that you dust enough to get all the lice. You may have to dust twice.

Edited to add: Try to get it everywhere you can. Focus on dark corners, cracks, the floor, and nesting boxes.

I have never had to. I guess it depends on how bad the infestation is.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but you can use "Adams Flea and Tick Spray" , spray it around the vent , under the wings and under feathers on neck . It is bar none the best stuff for getting rid of all kinds of bugs and crawling things i have ever seen !!!!
It's made for dogs , puppys , cats & kittens but has been used on chickens forever . I get mine at the feed store or from "Jeffers" .
