Mites

I just saw the most disturbing video of a chicken covered in mites!

It's of a chicken looking very close to death *covered* in mites, so don't watch the video if that sort of thing bothers you.

I would definitely dust in the areas they frequently dust bathe in as that is going to be one of your best bets.

Recently I was noticing the little wild birds look rather bad as if they had a bad mite problem so I figured it was time to dust my birds. I have a question for you all though...my peacock had a loose feather that he was about to shed so I pulled it off of him (it wasn't attached in his skin it was just hanging off of him) and I walked into the sunlight to look at it shine and change color in the light and I noticed a whole bunch of little tiny bugs scurrying across the feather. Now this to me if I remember correctly would be bird lice!? Is that correct!? Will the 7 dust cover bird lice too?
