I have kept a very small flock of chickens, just for a few eggs for many years. But this year I was given a second hand shed and a big paddock and the chickens thought it was alll their birthdays all at once. BUT the shed has a terrible red mite problem, I have used a pressure washer and cleaned it all out i have disinfected it with Duramitex which i thought had done the trick. Then i bought some powder to sprinkle all over the shed, but to my horror I have just been to check them and the shed is crawling with the little blighters, anyone please help.
