Mix Breed Chicks - Any gender guesses?

I think it's still a bit early to say. The first two do have larger combs, but there is still virtually no color.

Could still go either way. The next few weeks should be telling.

Here's what I posted on thread:

It's really too early, but your impression is the same as mine. First two, cockerels, last, pullet. But everything could change when they get a bit older. The last chick particularly seems young, and it is showing a touch of wattle development, so don't count your pullets just yet.

I thought it looked like the first two were getting a little pink, but this is only my second time dealing with chicks. There’s also what looks like wattles already starting. Though, it could be due to them being crosses of crosses, pretty much. Would around 9 weeks be the time you can really tell? The white one will be 6 weeks tomorrow and the second one is 5 weeks and 3 days. The last one is 5 weeks

I’ve tried looking at pictures of their parents at the same age, but I never took real good pictures of their wattles or combs. I know Burt, the RIR/BR cross, had pretty big ones early.

Burt’s the one in front. They were all 3 weeks old
