I respect those who keep breeds pure but I like mine interesting. Plan on swapping rosters every few years to keep it interesting and adding new genes into the flock.My (infamous) Red coop produces all sorts of mixes. The flock masters themselves are mixes
I do both. I keep most groups pure, and if I have ones I'm attached to that don't fit something, they go to the red coop or the bantam penI respect those who keep breeds pure but I like mine interesting.
