I respect those who keep breeds pure but I like mine interesting. Plan on swapping rosters every few years to keep it interesting and adding new genes into the flock.

I do both. I keep most groups pure, and if I have ones I'm attached to that don't fit something, they go to the red coop or the bantam pen
