mix colour of Tuxedo

hello

have anyone kept tuxedo quails before and are the friendly.
also what is the difference between coturnix quail for tuxedo.
i am going to hatch a mix of colours, champagne, silver, gold, cream, cinnamon and more.

would love to hear from anyone who have had these little one's would be great. cheers.

hi still no advice on these little birds.
are they friendly i have some eggs coming Thursday. my bobwhites were really unfriendly, will the tuxedo be the same.
i had coturnix a few years ago and they were a calm bird.

Tuxedo is just a color variation of cotournix.

I know part of breeding to get them is Texas am or English whites. I believe bred to wild or rosetta.

So they should be calm.

I have two tuxedo hens hatched together, they make up half of my pet group and one is a big dumpy hen who is tame and loves to snuggle and get tickles and lays gross eggs that the other quail eat before I can get to them and the other is a slimmer hen I mistook for a male til she started laying eggs she's not tame but friendly and sings at night before bed and enjoys being completely covered in wood shavings by my hand.

Oh and recently noticed she get snuggly when she's about to lay an egg and runs around trying to get into the other hens feathers with her face.. She stuck her head in my sleeve (other quail do that but it was her first time) and stayed there trying to get in more for about two minutes then when I lifted my arm up out of the cage making her head fall out, she had laid an egg LOL.
