Mix 'em up

They are selling 3 day old

chicks at my farm supply. If I get a few can I mix them with my 3 week old chicks?

Not really, Keep them close but separated until the little guys can hold their own ground without your help.

It is usually not a good idea to put tiny ones with larger chicks but after they are a couple weeks old it isn't so bad. I try not to put the little one in with the bigger cause they tend to pick on them and step on them and they have been know to smother them when piled up to sleep. Just something to think about.
