Mix guesses?

Just for curiosity's sake, any guesses what breed mix the buff girl on the left is? She is our only mix.

She hatched from a green egg. (Not our eggs/chickens) So, I figure an EE mix of some sort. My guess is Buff Orpington x EE, only because I think she has an Orpington personality.

Clean legs. Yellow with green/black tinge? I don’t have any good pics of her legs. You can see a glimpse of them in this pic from a couple months ago.

Buff orpington/EE mix would be a good guess since it came from a green egg. Oprington eggs would be light brown and some EEs lay blue eggs. Green eggs would have a blue egg parent and a brown egg parent.

I would also say EE mix. Colored legs, a little muff growing... gorgeous too! wish I had her in my flock

I have a buff orp & ee mix. She looks much the same. Mine has muffs and beard, pink legs, and a semi straight comb.
Your girl is lovely.

where did you get her egg? She could just be EE, as she appears. I mean, there *could* be BO in there, but she looks like a straight EE to me... which is a mix in and of itself.

She looks to be part Golden Eagle in that 1st photo for sure! She's a beautiful bird, regardless what her heritage! She's a keeper!

Thanks everyone! So, her egg came from a local person selling eggs. (For eating.) I had noticed some of the eggs were fertilized when cooking breakfast. We had a couple eggs left at the end of the weekend. When I took them out of the fridge, I decided to stick them in the incubator lol.

She’s very sweet and outgoing. She has always been tame around people. She lives with 3 LF, 8 Serama, and a Silkie. Bf’s and inseparable from the Seramas lol.
