Mix vitamins with Duramycin in water

I would wait till after the treatment to use the probiotic as it will negate the beneficial bacteria. But I definitely would give it immediately after completion of the duramycin treatment.

It won't hurt the bird to give him the vitamins/probiotics during antibiotic treatment, but it won't do him any good, either--the antibiotic will kill the beneficial probiotics. The vitamins will not be negated, though, so you can give those.

Wow! thanks! He is already very thin, and although I have been feeding the best feed (Purina Flight Conditioner 19%) and supplement with greens, BOSS, and Rooster Booster's probiotic/vitamin/electrolyte product Every day in their water during this hot weather, he has continued to lose weight. No mites/lice, coccidia, or worms. I have him isolated so that I can feed him all the treats he likes, plus his antibiotic water. He seems to feel much better this evening, but is surely not out of the woods by any means! I just can't figure it out! He is a year old, and has always been the picture of health. Any suggestions would be welcomed with open arms! We love our Silkie Buddy, and would be devastated if we were to lose him!

I have something similar going on in my flock, I also give them the best food and vitamins, but still I have lost 3 already, I'm not sure what's going on I fear for the little ones, whatever it is it has only affected the older ones at about 4 to 6 month old. How is your rooster doing did you figure out what was wrong?
