Can you mix Quail and chickens in the same coop and run or even just the same run .

I'm sure you can, however you need to remember that quail are flighty and need a covered run. I would check out feed requirements for compatibilty....then go from there.

A very long time ago, I had large outdoor aviaries, and in some kept farrow and button quail, with a couple of little mixed hens. (And fancy pigeons, budgies etc.) They were fine together, and the quail laid eggs.

It would all depend on the dynamics of your area; breeds and numbers of each etc., but it's possible, under the right conditions.
