A Dorgi is just another name for a cute mutt.

Depends. What I don't like is accidentally or purposely mixed breeds that the owners try to market as something special and unique with a fancy shmancy name. A schnauzer that jumped the fence and bred your Collie does not produce rare Schnollies. Stop it.

Having said that ... I don't like the name "mutt." It implies contempt, an attitude of "less than." Eeeww, he's JUST a mutt. Dog is dog. Any dog can bring love and exercise and companionship into your life, pedigreed or not. Any dog can save your life, scare off an intruder, entertain your kids, teach them responsibility. So I prefer the term "Great American Random-Bred." It's a little silly, a bit pretentious in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way, but it's not snooty.

Pugs are absolutely delightful dogs. I do have a suggestion. If you go shopping for a Pug puppy, make sure the parents are not snorters. Snorters have a too long palate, and it causes issues with breathing.
