mixed breed in one coop

Do you keep different breed in one coop? For example we have Buff Orpingtons (3 pullets 1 cockerel) and i would like to have a few silver laced wyandotte hens later on will that mess up the breed?

Well, any chicks hatched from your Wyandotte hens will be mixes. Otherwise there are plenty of mixed flocks here on BYC. I've heard that it may be a bit more difficult integrating birds of different breeds, but I'm sure your roo will appreciate some more ladies.
