I tested some eggs in my incubator with my mixed flock. My chicks look diffrent from the first batch. I am trying to figure out the whole sex-link thing. The ones that I am questioning are the following hens chicks; black sex-link, austr and silver-laced wyandotte. The only roo is a RIR(more production than anything but still preety dark.
I guess I'm just trying to see if anyone else has had any of the same breedings and what they got from it.
Also, would any of these produce a sex-link chick? Thanks.

You should have s.l. with the RR RooX Silver-laced.

The only RIRx Silver laced wyandotte that I know is red though.

Yes, the females are red and males are not. This cross is a sex-link cross of gold gene male over silver gene female. A very popular cross at hatcheries for red sex-links a good hybrid layer.
