Three weeks ago we went away for a weekend and one of my hens decided to go broody and collected some of her friends' eggs to hatch!
Our Salmon Faverolles roo is the father of all of them. Two are a combo of him and our RIRs (hatchery) and two are a combo of him and our exchequer leghorns! They are so adorable. All have the Faverolles beard/muff.
I hadn't planned to cross any of them like this, but now that its done I can't wait to see what they look like when they mature (and I hope they're mostly girls!)
The two that are exchequer leghorn combos look like this. Both have leg feathering, but one has the 5-toes like dad and the other does not. At first I thought they were black, but they are actually a very pretty dark mahogany brown color mixed with yellow/white. It would be cool if they ended up brown mottled.

Then the Fav/RIR are each different looking. Is this is a possible sex-link? One has the chipmunk look, leg feathering and 5 toes, the other is all yellow like a baby Fav, no leg feathering and 4 toes.
