Mixed colours orpingtons

If i cross white with lavender orpingtons and got a lavender cockerel out of the babies, could i then put the cockerel with a full lavender hen? Would the chicks from such a mating be full lavender? Thanks for any advice

Lav is recessive. You would get splits, and about 50% of the offspring would be lav if you bred a F1 cockerel back to his mom.

Are the white orps carrying recessive or dominant white?

Ok, then all F1 would be white (might have leakage) and split for lavender...bred to each other about 25% lav, 75% white and bred to the mom 50-50.
