Hi Everyone!
We have a mixed flock of 6 birds, but 2 of the flock is throwing us off. One is an EE about 10-11 weeks and the other is a barred rock about the same age. The EE has always been the dominant bird, very sweet, but definitely the top of the order. Was also the biggest chick of our whole lot too. The barred is sweet too, but the comb is just redder that I was expecting at this age. Since we can't keep any cockerels in our neighborhood, trying to figure things out before he or she starts crowing away. We have a good friend with a farm that will take any of the cockerels and can wait a few more weeks if we need to.
