Hi, first im new to chickens, but eager to learn and raise my own, ive start with 27 in a mixed lot. 19 of them i know are leghorn, which is what i wanted for eggs. 5 bantams that my fiance wanted for there color and 3 that i thought were leghorn turned a golden tan color. Ive been reading some of the forums since i got them about a month ago and but that has brought uo a few questions i havent been abke to find answers too. First just found out bantams is a "style" not breed and would like to know what they are and 2nd is the same about the tan ones, if they are leghorns or possibly cornish that got mixed in?

You may want to post this in the "What Breed or Gender Is This?" thread. I can tell you that the black and white one could be a Cuckoo Marans, Barred Rock, or Dominique. You will probably want to give comb pic. The last one looks like a Buff Orpington. In any case, Welcome to BYC and glad that youve joined the flock. Best of luck,
Minnowey
