Mixed some chicks!

Hi, I put two of Speckledhen's Ameraucana chicks in with my 3 silkie chicks, and they are all happy, and like eachother!
Cynthia, I really didn't know what to expect from Ameracaunas, I didn't think I would actually choose to have them in my flock, well!!!!!! I am sooo happy with them, they are so calm and friendly, they never run from my hand. I am so happy I have them!!!!!
The 5 Orp/Brahmas I think I will try to integrate when I move them all to a bigger area. BTW, they are certainly growing fast!!!!! Karen

I have had several ameraucana's and I really like them. They seem to be more intelligent than some of the other breeds. My Butika is an ameraucana and she is incredibly sweet, just a regular cuddle bunny!

They seem smart! LOL, that cute little one eye-tilted head look is irresistable.

I knew you would love them, Karen. They are by far the calmest, sweetest chicks I've hatched lately. I have a black Ameraucana cockerel in the nursery coop who is four weeks old now and he has to be on my shoe or on my knee or perched on my arm. Such a sweetheart!
