So I am thinking about getting a couple 9 week old Leghorns off craigslist. I already have 6 other chickens that are 22 weeks old (2 Dark Brahmas, 2 Production Reds, 2 Black Australorps). Most of my flock is laying except for the 2 Dark Brahmas.

I have a few questions about adding these 9 week olds to the flock:

Will I have to quarentine them?
How do I go about adding them to the flock?

That's all the questions I have for now, but I'm sure I will come up with more later [IMG]

    Thanks in advance. [IMG]

Always quarentine your chickens you never know what they might have. I use a wire large dog crate and place it in the coop for 3 days and then after that I release with them. I have'nt had a problem doing it this way! good luck![IMG]
