I have a sebright bantam and d'Uccles all the way up to a BBW turkey hen together and they get along just fine. Run/housing size also plays a factor. I have silkies and polish as well, for those with "sight problems".

Thank you! She's my favorite by far! Also the smartest! I'm assuming she will fly away if needed. It just scared me, I let him try 2x with No success think she's just to small but you never know . I did crack one of her eggs open last week and was wondering why it was fertile. I keep them in seperate coops but they free range together. He's obviously done it before with out me noticing. She keeps really closeti me when I'm out with them. I guess I'll let nature take it's course . Wonder what kinda chicks would come out of them two ? I have a OEG who likes To go broody !!Perfectly normal. If you don't want him to hurt her, you'll have to separate them. None of my little girls have gotten hurt from the big boys mating them. But my dominant roo is medium size and he keeps some roosters from mating or stops them in the process.
Since my flock is all together, all of the bantam eggs I hatch out have the possibility of the roo being a standard. Or all the standard size eggs have the possibility of the roo being a bantam.
And of course bantam to bantam and standard to standard.
Ok, I feel much better! Maybe my broody can give me some Intresting chicksDon't worry at all about this my mottled houdan is a standard and he mated with my buff cochin bantam and produced a chick and she looks like a bantam.
