Mixing breeds and cage setup.

Hello Everyone, sorry to ask so many questions but, can I put a male and female Texas a&m quail in the same cage? otherwise I was wondering if I can put a different breed in with Snowy, my Texas a&m quail, like the same size and gender? One more thing how should I setup Snowy's cage, and can I use a fish tank (20-50 gallons)?

The Texas A&M's are coturnix quail so yes you can put in more coturnix of different colors or the same it's best to have one male with several females or the females will become overmated which can lead to feather loss/stress/injury so I would get some more girls

I think I answered about coturnix in aquariums in another post - not ideal because of the ventilation issue which does become an issue in a short period of time leading to stinky cage and bad air for the quail
