mixing calls and larger breeds?

I presently have 1 male pekin,1 female rouen with 3 ducklings,and 1 female black swedish...I am looking to get some call ducks,but wondered if anyone else has them living together with the larger breeds? Is it possible? Or do you need to separate them? Just curious,,haven't found any calls yet,but would like to prepare I need to build another run...thanks

I know of quite a few people who keep Calls and Standard size ducks together. The majority of these people do free range though. The big issue you MUST watch for is that the Standard Drakes do not try to over breed your Call hens. Especially the heavier breeds like Pekins.

That right there is why i opted not too, i saw some adorable ones at a swap last weekend but with 3 Muscovy drakes i wouldn't dare.
