mixing chickens

hi!

I have three chickens about 6 months old. A friend offered to give me 3 more laying hens of about the same age. Her flock is very healthy. Can I mix these hens with my EEs? Thanks for your thoughts!

I don't see why not but you may have a pecking order going on. I have read that lots of people have had plenty of sucess with adding more chickens but i'm not one of them. Maybe I worry too much. I don't want them to hurt each other.

NEVER add new to your flock without first putting them in quarantine for a month. Don't risk it!
