Mixing chicks in established flock

If you let new chicks mix with flock, what do they eat?
No way to keep other hens from starter food?
Change feed to “All Flock” put calcium on the side?

Leave chicks in the brooder with mother?

Brooder about 2’ off of the ground with ladder entrance.

Be the first time hatching chicks with broody hen.

all flock and oyster shell

I feed all of my girls all flock with oyster shell on the side. They're all different ages and sometimes some are molting when others arent. Has worked for over a year for us

I have 5 week old chicks. I give them their higher protein crumbles and hand feed them with some water every day but also put pellets and adult crumbles in the long feeder as well as a few feeders around the run. They seem to do fine with the set up as they can't really eat the pellets
